Hannah ran at a county-wide cross country meet today. She came in 22nd out of what seemed to be close to a hundred fourth-graders. I am so weird, I got teary-eyed when she crossed the finish line (I always tear-up when they score a goal or a run, or win an award). She was so worried that she might come in last.... I was sad for the ones who did finish last... but someone has to be last.

The top picture of Hannah with her friend is gorgeous! Yay for Hannah! Great job. It certainly looks like she made a whole hearted effort...and that is what counts, first or last! GOOD JOB!
